This notice describes the information the Snowyy website and moderation workflow use, why it is needed, who may receive it, and how to ask a question or request a review.
1. Information Snowyy processes
Public server and game information
The website may display a Rust player name, current-wipe statistics, rank, kills, deaths, K/D, resources gathered, server status, map metadata, and wipe information supplied by Snowyy's game services. The public website does not need your email address to display these current-wipe game records.
Support, reports, and appeals
A moderation submission can include your Steam name, Steam ID64, email or Discord username, a reported player's identifiers, incident time, enforcement reference, narrative, and up to five evidence URLs. Do not include unrelated personal information.
Abuse-prevention and delivery data
The form uses a secret-salted, rotating one-way value derived from the network address supplied by Cloudflare to enforce a submission limit. The application does not store the raw address in the case record. Hosting and security providers may process request logs under their own policies.
2. Why the information is used
- Operate the website, live status, map, and current-wipe standings.
- Investigate rule violations, cheating, teaming, ORP abuse, and safety concerns.
- Review enforcement decisions and communicate about a submitted case.
- Prevent spam, duplicate submissions, abuse, evasion, and threats to service security.
- Maintain accurate enforcement history and resolve disputes.
3. Where information is stored and shared
Structured cases are stored in Snowyy's hosted database. A server-side notification containing case details may be sent through Discord to a restricted Snowyy staff channel so authorized staff can triage it. Game and website services may be hosted by Cloudflare and Snowyy's infrastructure providers. Evidence remains with the external service chosen by the submitter when only a link is supplied.
Snowyy does not sell personal information. Information may be shared when reasonably necessary to operate the service, investigate abuse, protect people or systems, comply with law, or establish and defend legal rights.
4. Retention
Open moderation cases are kept while they are investigated. Before these forms are enabled, Snowyy must approve and operationalize a fixed retention and deletion schedule for closed cases. Records may need to be kept longer for an active safety issue, ban-evasion pattern, legal obligation, or unresolved dispute; records no longer reasonably needed should be deleted or de-identified.
5. Cookies and analytics
This build does not intentionally use advertising trackers or a marketing analytics profile. Essential hosting, security, and abuse controls may process technical request information. If Snowyy adds a new analytics or authentication system, this notice should be updated before that processing begins.
6. Your choices and requests
You may ask what case information Snowyy holds about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where continued retention is not reasonably necessary. Snowyy may need to verify identity and may retain limited information required for safety, enforcement integrity, legal obligations, or security. Contact support@snowyyservers.com and include the case reference when available.
7. Public game data and profiles
Current-wipe names and aggregate game statistics can be visible to other players. Snowyy does not publish lifetime profile pages until stable player identifiers, complete wipe history, and an appropriate opt-out process are verified.
8. Changes
Material changes will be reflected by updating the review date and, when appropriate, announcing them through the website or Discord.
